Due to budget cuts, 70 State Parks are slated for closure on July 1, 2012. This means 25% of our State Parks will be closed. Though Chino Hills State Park is not on this list, many other wonderful parks are affected. Get involved to help protect our parks and protest these closures.

If you enjoy volunteering outdoors, want to work with a fun group of people and want to make a difference in our state parks, then become a Park Champion and join the California State Parks Foundation for the next Chino Hills State Park work day!

The Chino Hills State Park Discovery Center is now open Friday – Monday from 8 AM – 5 PM. It is located at 4500 Carbon Canyon Road in the City of Brea. Its entrance is just past Carbon Canyon Regional Park when heading east.
Visitors are encouraged to use the Center’s parking lot, fees are $5 per vehicle.
