      • California ranching history walk and talk. Tour the barn and learn about our small part in ranching in Southern California.

      • Help our park heal. Remove invasive species in our Science Nook, our hands on research area behind the Discovery Center. Hotter days mean we have an earlier start. See you at 7:30 am.

      • Enjoy this quiet walk and shoot activity with the Interpreter. Learn about the habitats and living things along the way.

    • Scouting in the Wild at Horse Camp
    • Friday 5-7pm
      • If you are completing summer hikes, adventures or badges, today is the day to hike in this open-house style activity. The interpreter and volunteers will lead hikes in a casual point-and-talk fashion.

      • Fun, stories, and connections to be told about the park. This is an all ages program.

      • We will host multiple tours of the Discovery Trail to talk about the habitats in Chino Hills State Park.

    • Girl Scouts Love State Parks
      • This weekend, be sure to pre-register with Girl Scouts Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Gorgonio councils for these events.

      • A relaxing guided 2 mile hike to discover what changes to expect as we transition into Autumn.
